VSA Light came on and stayed on.
Anyone know what would cause the VSA light and the Yellow "!" Triangle to come on and stay on. I shut the car down and when I restarted, the lights went out. Light came on in the middle of a segment of the Sactown Twisties run this last weekend.
Any ideas?

I had the EXACT SAME PROBLEM ON MY 2001 auto. Turns out it was a defective/malfunctioning of the VSA sensor. I got my fixed under warranty but the dealer initially wanted to say it was due to my lowering of the cls with CT springs...so gay.
bring your car in for service.

Strange, I had the same thing happen to me when i gunned the car driving down the street. The VSA light stuck on, the engine light came on, took it to the shop apparantly it was the "throttle postioning sensor"

Just read the Owner's Manual and they list two causes that would turn on the VSA light and keep it on:
* "If the system's diagnostics senses a problem with TCS, the indicator will come on and stay on."
* "If the brakes overheat, the indicator will come on."
I'm pretty sure that it's the latter of the two that was my problem. I'm still sending to the shop to have it checked out.
