VID '01 CL-S vs '02 WRX
my CL-S - CT intake, CT exhaust, CT tranny cooler, H and R sport springs.
he's modded... 16 psi? he's quick.
from a roll- 20mph. 1st run i start in second gear like a retard... so i lose like 2 car lengths but starting gaining on him a little. but then he hit the brakes right when i started to gain. we were going pretty fast at that point so its all good
2nd roll start- same old 3 honks. gate shifted this time and hung in 1st gear, had a great launch. much closer to him that time
what ya guys think with headers installed in a few days?

2nd roll i braked at 110... he kept on rolling cuz he was afraid he was gonna burn out his brakes. but much closer the 2nd time what will headers do to this? hopefulyl give me a little edge

yea i was hitting 143+ kb/s off wireless dsl en la casa... server gets my thumbs up

He looks hell of fast on the video. With all of his modds, do you think he runs as fast as the STI?
I think even w/ headers will only give u a fair race. You need light rims and high performance tires.
Don't forget to show us a new video w/ headers installed.

from a roll tires wont do so much. lighter rims will help a little. headers+pulleys are on my list next. headers will go on first. pulleys will probably come in a month or two, once they're back in stock
hes not as fast as the STi, he ran 13.7 1/4 mile trap 98
with headers im supposed to trap at 98 so we'll see

Those pulleys you were asking about are called "top speed" pulleys (UR copy) and he's thinking about selling them for around 80 bucks brand new. I'll try to get some asap and let you know how it works out.

I'm seriously considering taking out the driving light completely so that air will get to my CT icebox... you think that will be worth it? any more gains from it?

you might see a slight gain on a dyno but i doubt you would feel it. i dont know what icebox looks like because i have the aem but it might be worth a try.

dont worry, just get the headers in, and you will win, i can almost guarantee based on the outcome of that 2nd run. even the first one, you might of pulled back with headers. they help alot.
