vibration at 60mph

on certain parts of the highway my sterering wheel shudders at 55-60mph (sometime more violently then others). u guys think its bc one of my weights fell off and need to get it rebalanced? or it is a problem bigger then that?

Is it only when you apply the brakes? If so i'd check the rotors. If not check the balancing.

Yep, get the tires balanced before worrying about other things.

Get the balancing, but I do notice on some roads it feels like there is something wrong with my car, but it is just the road. That's what happens when they throw a bunch of dirt on top of marshes and call it NJ.

On certain pavement, I get a bad vibration. I also get more vibration on "good" roads when the OEM tires are cold.

On a certain portion of rt 195 I get incredible road noise on the old pavement, but once I hit a part where 195 was repaved a couple of years ago it's really quite.

Road condition and pavement makeup can have big effects on road feel.

I have the same problem. It is weird that the vibrating goes away sometimes. I can't tie the road conditions to the vibration because it sometimes vibrates and is sometimes smooth on the same road. Anyone have any ideas?

I balanced them again last sunday and the vibration has gone away for the most part. But still on little streches on RT 17 i sitll get the vibration but very very slighty. I guess its gotta be the rd bc its the only highway it does it on. And before my balancing was off on one wheel by 2grams
