Curious about Dealer Maintenance

So, I bought an 01 CL-S in the end of January at 50,250 miles, and I believe you're supposed to do a service at like 52,500? Here's my question...

Do you guys follow the dealer service manual? Do you guys go to your dealer to get service done or elsewhere? Especially, when it comes to oil changes, do you go to the dealer, to like a jiffylube, or do you do it yourself? My only concern is because I didnt really follow the service times for my previous car, but I did however get hte oil changed every 3,500 miles and the tires rotated every 5,000. However when it comes to spark plugs and all that shit, I didnt really do that. So what do you guys suggest? Thanks

i believe plugs don't have to be changed until 105k. i would do normal maintanance yourself.

The dealer can be a rip off for some stuff. Do the oil changes yourself...I just did mine the other day.
