I am doing custom 3" piping from either the headers or cat back ,Currently I have DC Sports headers , stock everything else . I'm probabaly gonna do the xlr8 hfc or test pipe after the headers , than open it up to 3" . I have a Magnaflow resonator that is gonna go in . here is the decision ...

Single or dual outlet , into a vibrant of magnaflow muffler ?

Will a dual outlet help give more grumble like a infiniti g35 or will it be quite similar to the single exit ? I honestly like the single outlet look , I've been seeing it done on alot of Accords with j32a2 swaps .

You will not gain any measurable power from 2.5" to 3" exhaust and will probably loose low end torque.

Is that a single inlet dual outlet which kills the need for a y pipe i see sir ? Is that what you're running ?

@Re' yeah this is mainly for sound , but understand the headers are still standard size along with the cat .

 

They have single in single out or single in dual out. I have a pair of single in single out waiting for me to install.
