Vanity mirror electrical problem

I’ve noticed that none of the courtesy lights beside the vanity mirrors turn on when the cover is flipped up. I thought that it was unusual that all four bulbs would fail at once but just to be sure I replaced the bulbs. Unfortunately, they still don’t work. I don’t think the fuse is the problem because the other components connected to it are still working. Does anyone have an idea as to what this could be?

The vanity mirror lights are only on when the headlights or running lights are on. Click your lights forward one (or two for full headlights) and the vanity lights will work. It's a weird deal but that's how they chose to wire them. Seems they think no one needs vanity lights in the daytime.

Thanks for that.

I just tried it and it works!

Thanks! That makes sense. I’m just glad nothing is broken
