Vancouver B.C members please come in.about icbc question.
my cls just been vandalized by some suckers
i have already reported to the police and icbc company.but some autobody shops estimated that the repair fee will be around US$15000..and my cls is 2001..will icbc repair it or pay me another cls??

$15,000 USD???
You sure about that figure? The only way it can be that amount is if the culprit(s) really did a number on your car...ie. smashed all your windows and lights, slashed all four tires, keyed and dented all the panels, rip out the carpet, slash your leather interior, rip out the stereo and speakers, and more, etc.
That $15,000 USD is just under $24,000 CAD. I believe the '01 CL-S is still worth about $30,000 CAD...or just under $20,000 USD around these parts.
That is still a wide gap between the amount of damage and value of the car. Most likely, they will repair it. If you are lucky/unlucky(depending on which way you see it), they will write it off and give you current value for the car...which is around the amount I stated above.
The only way that ICBC will give you a totally brand-spanking new CL-S is if you were smart enough to purchase "Limited Depreciation" with your insurance.

ICBC will fix your car whenever the estimated repair cost is below the car's market value. For collisions, it sometimes happens that the bodyshop will find more damage after panels' been taken apart. But since repair work has already been started, ICBC will approve additional repair cost, and so the final repair cost can exceed the market value of the car.

holy yeah where did this happen???
my cls got vandalized at aberdeen centre one time
but just the hood was dented and i payed 200 bucks deductable and got a new paint job! that little dent costed 1000 cdn!! cuz they had to repaint hood, replace headlight..there were some scratches on the light too!
but i dont know about u man! ...thats pretty sad 15000 in damages eh

To cause $15kUS of damage...wouldn't it kind of take awhile and make tons of noise? Where did you park your car that no one near by could pick that up & call the fuzz?
In this case, even if you bought the extra insurance for full replacement, I don't think it would apply in this situation.
