valet 1 CL 0 - WTF!

WTF WTF WTF. sorry this is a rant.... but if im going to go to a restaurant and pay fucking 130 bucks for a meal (anniversary) and have the valet charge me 6.50, i want to get the car back with the way i gave it to them!! there are 3 dents in my drivers side door and rear QP and a huge bend at the tip of the door where it looks like they slammed it open into another car. WTF!

Don't use a valet. Simple as that. It's common knowledge. We all know how they treat cars.

theres not a lot of options in LA to not use valet. they have deals with all the parking lots and most of the street parking is permit only (ie if you dont live on that street you will get towed). im bitching to the restaurant which is a nice one and hopefully they will do something about it.

Especially in the Los Angeles area there have been numerous reports about valets wrecking cars, stealing etc and the on the back of the ticket they give you says the company has no liability. Its absolutely ridiculous

after working for a valet company in austin texas, i would NEVER valet my car anywhere.

I personally treated all the cars with respect as if they were my own, but some of the other people i worked with would hit poles, bump cars, dog the shit out of them, ding the doors etc etc. they would just laugh about it when it happened too.

Guess it's a LA thing then. I've used a valet once in my lifetime & it was in a rental.
I'd rather go elsewhere then use a valet.

this gets to me. how can a valet company have such bad practices, how can you just slam open a car door not caring if it hits the other car. wth is wrong with them? it takes 2 extra seconds to make sure you slowly open the door making sure u don't hit another car...

simple. if they can't do that, they shouldn't be valeting cars.

those valet people really need a lesson on ethics, do they not know how to respect their job.

wait lets think about it now. you pay $7-$10 for vallet. they pay these "kids" min. wage and these kids know they are protected by the disclaimer. well ya they are going to rag your shit! #1 most kids do not have respect for cars, much less yours. #2 most are prob spoiled and hence why they don't care for nice cars #3 what else would be better than tellin your buddies how you drifted this NICE car down the parking garage bangin the rev limiter. #4 maybe you get lucky and have someone like cltypeslow park your car where he comes back and tells his friends about the NICE cars he gets to drive around the block, NOT RAG!
