Valentine One Rocks!

I finally got my V-1....I don't know how I used those crappy cheap detectors for so long.

It was great...I was driving to work this morning, and the V-1 tripped in an area I always false in....but I see the Bogey count....and an extra bogey pops up, and I realize there is a cop at the side of the road taking radar. If it wasn't for V-1, I would have assumed it was still part of the regular false alarm.

Question for those who have one:

What mode do you use....All Bogeys, Logic mode 1, or Logic Mode 2?

Which helps explain the RIDICULOUS insurance you pay every month.

A good detector give you a HELL of an advantage over most other cars on the road, but you still need to drive with a little common sense.

yeah man, really, its good and all but you need to keep your wits about you. the best approach is being paranoid. just because they arent in a speed trap doesnt mean they wont bust you. i got caught on the fly once going far too fast. the p's werent happy and neither is the insurance company. since then ive slowed it down. i really cannot stress enough how much you should not rely on this. it is not a magic cop repellent, it is not a submarine radar, if you use it as a crutch you will get busted hard at one point or another. o yeah and if you ever get a laser signal, youre fucked.

I use L normally, and all when I'm out of town.

Welcome to the club.

Soopa just needs an invisible car... that never needs service...

How can Mr Valentine continue to put a detector that looks like an 80's model and not update anything on it - yet still charge the same price without discounting it ever! By the way - I'm not disputing the job that it does - just throw a sale in once and a while - geez!

Valentine One is like a Coach purse.

No sales.

And I think the detector looks much nicer than those ugly 80s detector...the latest model is not all that big, not much bitter than the 8500, since I've had them both side by side.

Those little chirpy Bels that fit into a tablespoon, now that's ridiculous.
