Valentine One in Jersey
I am definitely getting a V1. Driving mainly in Jersey (Parkway, Turnpike, etc.) do I need the V1 with laser or just the standard model?

Yeah, I guess you're right on only one model. Its just that a couple years ago, there were two different models. With laser or the standard K, Ka, and X bands, or something to that effect.

They do use Radar. NJ State police aquired 30 units I believe and are in use. MY friend just got a 93 in a 65

LIDAR is what we refer to as "laser," radar is RF and yes they do use it, sorry about ur ticket btw.
