V1 Remote on A-pillar (pics)
With the windows down and radio up it can be difficult to hear the V1. Plus I don't always remember to turn the volume up. I wanted the remote visible while driving, not looking down at the gauges, or up at the visor. Any flashing lights are very apparent without taking your eyes of the road. I bent, cut, and filed some metal bracing to fit. I used double sided tape to hold the mount on the inside of the A-Pillar cover. The remote is screwed onto the mount.

Double-sided tape holds the mount on the A-pillar cover, no dangling.
The detector is clipped on the visor (3rd pic), so it does not move/shake. Only the remote display is on the A-pillar.
With this setup it is easy to put sun shades in the windshield. It is difficult to see the detector or remote from outside the car and easy to remove the detector. Using the suction cup mount on the window is a pain. Just the suction marks on the windshield can get your window smashed by a thief.
