Hi guys, I've been trying to hardwire my v1 using the manual's Direct-Wire installation procedure, but I know nothing about the wiring color codes and setups in the fuse box. Anyone has done the Direct-Wire installation for their V1 using the blue power tap included? It's probably included in v1.7 or later, so stripping the power cable isn't necessary.

i just stripped the wire off from the blue tap thingy and stuck it in the fuse 12, the windshield wipers. Works flawlessly. saved me 2 times on the way to the private screening of kangaroo jack, daredevil and 1st cut of terminator 3. great day today, loved them all, t3 is a sellout, damn, should be even better with the finished product.

may i ask a question, what is the v1? i've never heard of it before until i started reading these boards...

Do they fine you more when they discover V1 on your vehicle?

 

If it is illegal in that particular geographic area--Sure! Otherwise it depends on whether a cop wants to give you "Failure to obey traffic control devices" or "Speeding"
