Utterly, utterly raped by a Chevelle....

Hi there. Last night I was cruising down the street, and I pull up next to a Chevelle with 100 spoke rims. :'(

I look over and he is looking at my car, so I glance at the light and back at him. He revs it.....it's on!

Now, I knew unless this guy was a total novice at driving, that I was going to get raped......

BUT DAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYUUUUUUUUUUUUUMMM!

He popped 2nd and he was just g-o-n-e.

It was nice to hear so much power from an engine though, after hearing fart cannon exhausts all night.

he he he, my friend had 2 chevelle ss's both putting down somewhere around 500 horses, the car would run 13 flat and high 12's. But one run with him in my s2k froma roll, and those 500hps were just burning gas. Not saying I beat him, but he didnt pull at ALL.

From a roll I know this would be a different story cause his car rips shit up ut of the hole.

your right mattg

my buddy has a 1970 Ls6 chevelle which has the 454
and he's running in the 500 horsepower range and he's runnning 11.7's

no maxima is going to be near it i'm running low 12,s and from a roll he pulls away quite hard on me. It's usually even from 0-40 then he pulls away.

a chevelle ss came with a 396 from late 65 to 69 with 325 hp up to 375 hp... in 70 came the almighty 454 rated at 450 hp but really had over 500 hp.. these cars on glass belt tires with the 396 ran 14s but slicks stock they ran 13s.. now the 454 with shit tires from 1970 ran 13.0s so stock with drag radials or slicks 12s easy.. muscle cars where fast as hell... torque monsters they where just heavy. that was the only down fall and aerodynamics

you guys are all welcome to your own opinions, so why would I bash on you for expressing your right.

You guys need to grow up a little before you make an assumption. And I in no way said that I beat a random 500hp chevelle with the greatest driver in the world.

I specifically said that my FRIEND had a chvelle SS with over 500hp. FRIEND!!! He was also 16 years old and didnt know how to drive worth shit. Agian, I enveer said I beat him, I said I kept up with him from a ROLL, not from the line.

Again, you are all welcome to your opinions, and I personally dont care whether you believe me or not. So in the words of a wise man, shut the fuck up you immature little piece of shit, damn noob Have a nice day

Yeah...there are fast chevelles, faster chevelles & real fuckin fast chevelles...

I believe there was a dirt-slow slant(?) six, a 327, 350(not sure), 400 small block, 396 big block(ss). I think there was even a bigger one put in the limited edition cars...maybe along the lines of a 454, etc... about that for sure.

I had a 72 SS & my dad had a 70...very quick & fun cars to beat on. I miss it sometimes...no fucking computer, just engine...I always wanted a 67 SS, they were hot IMHO.
