upgrade to a 03 cls??

currently i drive a 01 clp with 32k miles on it. should i upgrade to an 03 cls possibly with navi? is it worth the hassle and extra 6-8gs?

or....wait longer (>3yrs) and get a new car.

The only reason to do that would be to get a six speed.

yeah if you get the six speed it might be worth the switch, other wise just wait and get something new in a few years. there are some sick cars coming out .. just in time for me to be out of college and have a job that can afford them

True dat! I test drove a CL-p when I was looking for cars and I definately liked the CL-s better. And I spoke to a couple guys that said that there wasn't a huge difference. So it may not be worth the 6-8K. I don't think it is.

Use some of that money to mod what you have. A set of headers and an Icebox will give you some extra pull. A nice drop and a set of wheels, etc.

tru tru....you guys made a good point. but for mods, what the point if i dont intend to keep the car for a long time.

You can sell the mods later, as long as its nothing permanent like shaved door handles. And because mods make your car unique, plus the car looks sick with a drop and who doesn't want more power?

Didn't you plan on keeping it for 3 years. That a long time. May as well enjoy it.

Think of it as RENTING the mods. Plus if you find a nice 6 speed, just transfer what you can.

If I were you, I'd upgrade from your '01 to an '03 CLS 6MT. That's what I did and am much happier now than I was with the '01.
