Go to www.unorthodoxracing.com and go to the dyno section and you will see the dyno for the CL-S. It's about 13 hp and 9 ft/lbs of torque.

but look at this dyno for an accord V6:

really 20 whp/20wtq, or did they convert to crank? dyno was done in different gear each time? Granted the stock crank pully is like 25 lbs and the UR one is like 2.3 lbs does that really seem possible?

Bullshit, i'm sorry. You aren't going to get 35wtq from just an underdrive pulley.

I was the original CL to get the Crank Pulley. That dyno on the site is mine. The numbers were impressive esp since my car only had 1400 miles on it.

look at the top left corner, on the date for the "stock" run, does it say 14/25/02??

I was checking that maybe they used two different model year cars to get 20whp, and i saw that.

looks like it could be part of the dyno run # though...huuumm...seems fishy

Underdrives are one of the most cost effective bolt ons, proven time and time again.

just the crank pulley.

johntypes had his car dyno'd after the pulleys and it was under 10 hp/torque.

yeah it is prat of the dyno run #. it's dyno 001 on 4/25/02 vs dyno 004 on 5/16/02

but still, I bet that's like stock vs I/E/P or some crap. WAAAYYY yoo fishy though.

doesnt this show the torque convertor locked in 2nd gear...and then another run in 3rd gear...making the gains look bigger than they really are....

Anyways...just so that you know, with CAI, Exhaust, headers and UR pullies, I gained around 13whp...and then after tuning, another 12whp....so expect something, but not as much...

I never did get a straight answer out of anyone over at V6p.net , so I have no idea what the deal is with this graph, and I highly doubt that if I ask UR they'll tell me exactly what the deal is.

damn cocao, only 25 whp after all that? how many miles on your engine when you started? Did you have over 200 whp or near it NA like 99CL does now? His car gained approximately 40 whp over stock, so something seems weird all around here.

Well, there was another member that had dynoed at 209whp, while I dynoed at 175whp, and I beat him by literally 3 cars. Sooo....I don't know, I guess it depends on what dyno you used, and the tuning. Also, he had a system and that dyno mat which I think weighed him down a bit.

My gains are pretty much normal in my opinion. People dont realize that you dont get too much out of bolt ons. It's once you start with the tuning and replacing internals where you can get some pretty good power, or at least give yourself the opportunity to get more. But then again, every car is different. Muscle cars get crazy power out of mods, simply because their motors aren't as efficient as ours. Hondas get about 70-100hp per liter, while muscle cars get about 50hp per liter. So they have more room to get power out of their bolt ons. Anyways, bolt ons usually reduce restriction, so in theory, your not adding power, your just letting your motor run a bit more efficient resulting in more power. Intake, exhaust, and headers reduce restriction, pullies allow for more power to be gained because it takes less effort for the motor to rotate the pully when given a lighter weight pully, therefore resulting in more power to the wheels.

The numbers I provided aren't 100% accurate (the amount of power/liter that I've stated). So just bare with me.....I bet someone could better phrase what I was trying to say. Sorry, but I just worked a 10hr shift so I'm kinda out of it....

lol, I dunno what I was thinking, 99CL has his cams INSTALLED, lol

for some reason I compared you two because you were selling me the cams, lol.

well I hope I get at least near 200 whp tuned after I get the cams and pullies and exhaust on. Then I'll be getting the juice. nothing like the insane 125 shot you have, sticking to a 75.
