Unorthodox Pulley

I've heard from a friend that i shouldn't get the whole set of Unorthodox pulleys. I should just get the crank pulley. Which is fine if i get it. But i read on the site that:

If the stereo system in question is above that wattage amount then the owner has two options. They can purchase our stock or oversize diameter crank pulley or we can make a custom alternator pulley, which will be smaller in diameter and will increase the voltage output.

Capacitors are a smart addition as they store the power the amplifiers need for peak draw. Our stock diameter series used with capacitors allow the vehicle owner to achieve the cleanest and most powerful sound with no loss in voltage output. Another good option would be to install a second battery or batteries just for the stereo.

I have 1 KICKER SOLOBARIC S 12 L7, and it gives out more than 600 watts rms. I have 750 RMS. and i even plan on putting another SUB in there. What should i do?

Follow what the site recommends. If you're upgrading to over 1200 watts you should definitely not get the underdrive crank, you will see performance loss for your audio system.

Just get the standard size lighter pullies, you will only lose like 1-2 hp over the overdrive pullies.

Get the Ultra Sc 12 Volt Supercharger pulley. It is the same diameter as the stock crank pulley and will not underdrive the system. I have them for $180 shipped if you want one.

The Ultra Sc crank pulley is the same diameter as the stock crank pulley. This means you will not underdrive your alternator, which happens with the Ultra S underdrive crank pulley.

if you get the Sc pulley, you will essentially be stock. so run your system as if your car is stock. if you need caps or batteries later on, it means that your alternator just cant handle the load.
CONCLUSION: If you want a crank pulley with no adverse effects on your electrical system, get the Sc 12v crank pulley that excelerate offered!
