i have a "03 cl-p and planning to get an intake, i was reading couple threads and it said that it would make my car slower in hot summer days, and its not worth getting the short ram? is it true, or should i just get it because i want the sound at high rpms, and the speed issues that go along with it, also the better fuel mileage

 

You can have a CAI and a short ram.
If you buy the Comptech icebox you can take off the top of the box and it will be a short ram.
So you can try both and see which you like better.

I currently use my Comptech as a short ram right now and like it better.
