Got distracted fro two seconds and rear ended a stratus.
Looks like my car will need a new hood bumper and lights.
Not too happy about what my insurrance is gonna do come september. And sorry no pics my digital camera is out being serviced.

not that fast, my air bags didn't even deploy, but I think since my car is dropped it dug into the rear end of her car. her bumper didn't even look all that bad

 

Cheer up.. when you fix it - it will be as good as new... As long as your frame/motor/tranny in tact... - be fortunate that noone got hurt...

but "good as new" isn't neccessarily correct. The paint sprayers wont be the same, and depending the paint age (obviously not on a 03) some colors are hard to match when you factor in sun fade. Red is one of the hardest colors to match on a car that is 3+ years old.

So the "orange peel" pattern will be noticably different from the different sprayers.

Most folks won't notice though... many people do not know what 'orange peel' is. Or how to look for it...

 

To give you an example.. when I got my Rolex [when i was rather 'less' informed].. and it was 1 second off the spec - I almost passed out... And then, when I realized that hands there were out of alignment... - my life was almost over.... But... the best we can do is CONTROL people that fix things.. that they adher to best factory specs, which is impossible at any other environment but factory.. yet still... do best you can...

Some are more 'passionate' of things... but when such moments come - we must prioritize... and GOD & Nature are so gracious that they 'make us' forget of 'small stuff'... So don't sweat the small stuff as the quote goes... as long as the most vital parts are in original/factory shape... enjoy the hell out of it ..

Sorry man, as far as insurance if they want to hike up your premium, look around, i found a better deal after i changed company's.....almost cut it in half.
