UNIVERSAL Exhausts (Arospeeeeed...)

Anyone have these? HOw are they? They are cheap and sound nice. I expect no performance gains from these bad boys, being they are only "cans"...I have seen them quite often in mags and look reputable...anybody?

i have an arospeed, twin can DTM exhaust, i dont like it, its loud and drony on the high way. The one thing i do like is that it doesnt sound high pitched at all, no moped sound here.

Why don't you get the adjustable controller thingy? Then when you hit up the highway, you can tune it down...

Oh...well I have never heard of Shotgun technology. But this setup that Arospeed offers with their line of "Tunable Bombs", you can adjust the opening without choking the engine so if you get sick of the sound when you are on a long trip you can tune it down. Check out their site!

CLUofI: Besides the noise factor? How's the installation? Quality? Warranty? etc etc. Thanks!

Installation was done by a local speed shop, never saw any written warranty, but they said if i ever have any problems from their work to bring it in so they can fix it at no cost. The chrome seems to be good quality, the welds on the muffler itself look perfect after 2 years of iowa winters

rob, they say, it will work on MOST exhausts...You should email them or call them and see if they will work with your HKS's...those super dragers are HUGE though...i dunno...im just looking around...im still waiting for someone to PS my Zenetti's and see what THOSE look like

my one friend has a 95 Accord coupe 4 cylinder with a BUNCH(CAI,header, pipe, and a few other little things) of Aerospeed stuff on it(he gets most of it on e-bay) but he likes it. the only thing I'm worried about it is Aerospeed can't do as much R and D as like C Comptech or OBX or HKS. they can claim it will add 20 HP but until they put it on a dyno I won't believe it.:P

I'm not too worried about performance gains...Hey! If it gives me 5hp...ill TAKE it..I just like the design and how the can will look on the CLS. I like that look better than the GREDDY's or HKS's...although they may give a slight performace increase.

Anyone else with experience with this brand. They also carry suspension...HOw are their sways, springs etc? You said your friend has a "bunch of their stuff"...does he have any suspension products?

Isn't magnaflow for domestics?

I think Ractive is a bit more "economical" than anything else. At least Arospeed has some what of a performance and design aspect.

compared to our 1100 or 1200 for the comptechs
