Has anyone tried Uniden's new GPS radar detector? It looks pretty cool and sounds good on paper but does it actually work? How is the range?

I've never used or seen one personally, but from everyone I've talked to, they said to stay away from Uniden.

I did extensive research before I decided to get the V1. I had a hard time justifying the cost of the V1 at first, but after having it for a few days, I'm happy I got it.

I'm sure that places like Circuit City or Best Buy has that particular model. I'd guess they have a 30 day return policy on it? If you want to try it out, then go for it. If you don't like it, take it back... From what I've been told, and what I've read, I'd stay away from Uniden.
