does anyone have the diagram? i think i may have an issue. on the unichip itself there are 2 plugs, but i only have 1 plug coming out of the harness that fits, and then 2 splices. i picked this up used on the forums, is it still useable?

 

If I'm not mistaken, that one is for remote power on/off which does not come with the kit.

 

The small one is not used. I'm not sure what it was/is for, but that's how it came from Unichip.

 

Sorry to hi-jack; but does anyone know the most significant gains anyone on this site has received through uni-chip? I've always been under the impression that it's next to useless for us; it seems to work pretty well for the 6th gen j30 guys though.

 

It gives about 5-6 more hp. not all that impressive about the equal to the gains you get from TB spacers.

 

yup, for the used price i got it for was worth it to me, but not the amount it was brand new. but i will be tuning it to my 3.5 setup, so i'm expecting a bit more than 5-6 but i'm not holding my breath.

i'm just a bit concerned about the brown/red wire coming off the main harness. i know the guy had it for an n2o setup, but it appears the wires were part of the harness and not just tapped in.
