Yea, I noticed that too.
They better be somewhere else or hidden in the dark or I will be pretty MAD.
I use those suckers like every day from November through March.

2003 Acura 3.2 CL -- Interior

Torrance, Calif. 01/04/2002 --

SEATS
The CL's seats were designed to provide outstanding comfort and maximum support by incorporating generous side and seat bolsters to hold the occupants in place during spirited driving.

The high-back front seats incorporate a large, adjustable head restraint that provides optimum back and neck support as well as the necessary bracing during a rear impact collision.

Seating surfaces in all CL models utilize U.S.-sourced leather. The CL Type-S features leather seats with a perforated pattern for enhanced ventilation and a sporty appearance. An adjustable lumbar support provides lower back support, while the driver's seat includes a heated bottom cushion and backrest. The passenger's seat has a heated bottom cushion only, to avoid interfering with the passenger's side air bag sensors. The driver's seat incorporates eight-way power adjustment while the passenger seat offers four-way power adjustment. All four seating positions in the CL are equipped with three-point seat belts.

Also this...............

CENTER CONSOLE
In CL Type-S models with 6-speed manual transmissions, the center console has been modified to feature a handbrake and a redesigned cup holder with sliding shutter. In addition to housing controls for the heated front seats, the center console area features a large storage compartment and leather covered padded armrest.

From the car show. They had two 6 speeds on display. This one was serial number 9. The cupholder cover and parking brake were obviousy pre-production in this one. The other one had more finished looking material. But this shows the placement of everything including the seat heaters behind the e-brake. The gearshift rod is bent. It comes out in the center of the hump, but is bent so that the knob is closer to the driver.

Might just be one switch for each.

The heaters appear to be simple on/off now. No more hi/low.

No where yet. I just got back and haven't had a chance to really sort thorough everything. I'm short on server space so I'll probably just post some of the better ones to the board.

I hope shawn is right, I mean it is possible, same as the switches on BMW's... but umm... "looking" at the switch... it does look like an on/off kinda thing.

That sucks.

The "Hi" setting is most def necessary... but will melt you if left on HI once it gets to perfect temp.

Damn, i feel for ya shawn, your winters may have just gotten a little bit colder

If you want to cool the seats, you have two options.

1) You can buy a recaro seat with a Vent system, very cool.

2) You can buy a Nitring vented seat cushion. Go to Nitring.com
