U guys spill drops of gas after filling up???
This might only be me, but many times when i fill up tank with gas, and remove the nozzle, i always get a few drops of gas on the bumper, or on the car. How bad is this for the paint, because it evaporates immedietly and i never have a chance to try and dry it.

yes it vaporizes fast...just tap the nozzle a few times until the drops cease...if you get gas on the paint....its not bad, but it will stip the wax off....so rewax that area and you should be good

I shake the gas nozzle more then I do my DONG in the bathroom to avoid drips on the paint.
The standard “method” is 6-7 taps on that metal piece, then rotate the nozzle face up and slowly remove.
My success rate is 100% so far.

If you keep dripping gas on your paint, you will see it start to eat away at the paint!!!!!
Keep the gas OFF your paint!!!!!

Yeah I always tap the gas nozzle a few times ... Dont want to take any chances! I hate when I goto NJ to visit my parents and you can't pump your own gas. I'm always worried about gas dripping on the car, people not turning the gas cap at least 3 clicks ... I'm paranoid I guess

I am a paint guy. I understand paint, including waterborne, solventborne and especially powder coating. Your paint is especially formulated to resist gasoline and a bunch of other chemicals. In fact, the inside and outside of our cars are tested to resist gas, motor oil, ketchup, mustard, windex, formula 409, etcetra. Anything that could possibly land on, or be used on the car.
But here are three things to be wary of:
1. Bird shit. This stuff can be very acidic. Get rid of it in two days at the outside.
2. Antifreeze. If it gets on the paint, you have about 2 minutes before it leaves a stain. Flush with lots of water.
3. Brake Fluid. This is INSTANT DEATH to car paint! You have about five seconds before damage is done. Wash with soap and water right now!
Whenever you have brake work that involves bleeding brake fluid, you should carefully note your cars finish before and after the work is done. I would also note to the service supervisor that you know the damage brake fluid can do to paint.

I have about 8 spots on my car, and a 3 inch line of cracks in the paint from bird crap! I bought the car used, so nothing i can do! A body shop wanted $1500 to repaint my truck and new emlems, i was like NO THANKS! Does Zaino protect against this?

On my first fill up with my car I dripped gas on the side and flipped out. Since then i make sure i shake quite a few times.
What happens if tapping the nozzle on the metal area causes a spark?

Sparks can't happen unless you get REALLY, REALLY VIOLENT thrusting the fill nozzle at the car. The nozzle is made out of aluminum, and under normal use, aluminum is considered to be non sparking.
Now, if you believe that, go take a piece of aluminum to a rotating 3,500 rpm grinding wheel. It'll spark.
