Hi, I was wondering what type of tint is recommended for our cars. I remember the dealer mentioning something about metallic tint and how it's not good to get it because it interferes with the radio reception. Is this true? Anyone with a metallic tint can comment about it? Also, what kind looks the best on a black cl. Thanks

Just get regular black tints

 

The jury's still out on metallic tint. I have metallic because I didn't want it to fade or turn color. But I had my installer lay out the tint over the rear window before applying it. I checked the radio and navi reception and it was unaffected. But some brands may affect radio more than others. Also, radar detector makers tell you not to use metallic.
