Type S Subs

Does anyone have alpine type s subs here, i'm interested in how they perform, as they'd probably look good in the trunk on my ABP. Any thoughts?

1) This will get better responses in the Audio Forum

2) The Type-S subs are Alpine's low-end line so keep that in mind

3) Buying a speaker because it is blue and says "Type-S" =

yea those subs are decent at best. id go with somethin else for the money. when gettin a system dont spend all that money on shitty stuff.. spend just a lil bit more to get good equipment that will perform and last longer, trust me its worth it.

if u just want the "boom boom" theyll give u that but nothin too extreme.

depends on your budget and what kinda system youre goin for... SQ, SPL or whatnot and what kinda box youre gonna use. lots of other stuff to decide on too

If you just want something that looks ricey and matches your blue "type-S" stick a 10" alpine type-S in a bandpass box, add some ricer neon, and you'll be all set.

I'd go with an Infinity Basslink unit... small and classy and will give you all the oomph you need.
