Turn signals not working

I was driving and I had my left turn signal on and all of a sudden the green arrow inside stopped flashing, the signal lever was still down. I pulled over and checked it out, basically when I signal it flashes once or twice and then stops. The lights outside stop blinking too?

I need to check the fuse but I am almost positive that if it was the fuse they would not work at all. I am thinking it has something to do with a relay switch or something.

Anyone have any ideas as to what it could be ? Or had the problem before?

Could be that one of your outside bulbs has gone south?? I think if a bulb burns out your inside turnsignal stops flashing. Not sure though!!

It is definitely not the outside bulbs they work initially when I signal until it dies and I have to resignal.

Same thing happened to me. It is not your bulbs! It is your relay for the flasher. Go to the dealer and have it replaced. They will tell you there is two flasher. I can't remeber which one it is but the whole thing cost me around $ 120 to fix.

Thanks for the info, I had a feeling thats what it was. I had a similar problem on an older accord. I will have to get it done at the dealer soon.

Thanks,
