i was down for the import car and truck show this weekend and saw a turbod cls 6spd driving around, it sounded niiiiiiiiiice. i dont know if it was Titand19 or not, this guy was from NJ, it was black w/stock rims. the guy was following around a supra tt trying to get him to race....would have loved to see the reaction on the supra guys face if they got the chance. :sqnteek:

well than now theres 2 in this world buddy. i can tell the difference between a supercharger's whine and a turbo spooling so im positive it was turbo'd with a fmic (most people with a SC would run an AC.) BPU supras are running mid-high 12's, allmotor ran 12.9 out in CA, im sure on the east coast mid 12's are possible.

 

i'm sure theres more, i've seen one rolling around southern cali too that wasn't all_motor. There are also about half a dozen turbo v6 accords rolling around that aren't on the internet, or no one knows about them, etc.

I only saw one other CL than mine it was also a black 03 but it was parked when I saw it. The show sucked this year and most other cars just driving around also were pretty pathetic. I was down two years ago and I didn't pull up to one light with out having a "nice" car sitting beside me. All shows seem to be going down hill

 

I guess there could be a black one... although this is the first I know about it - I only made one kit and 'you-know-who' owns it now.

Was it intercooled? Cars sound funny sometimes... even an intake makes wierd sounds. Turbo's can't really be heard unless its real big and/or there's a blow-off valve.

allmotor, there is an automatic 01 that's silver rolling around OC, it's been around for a year or so now, i've seen it 2x's but can't find anyone who knows anything about it.

 

yes it had a bov...could tell obviously when he shifted or when he let off gas, there is a big difference between the constant drone of an intake and a turbo spooling up. ive been around honda/acuras since about 1996... when i/h/e on integras was unique and high 14s cars were considered fast, so im not a newb in the game and really, i know what i saw.

anyway yea the show sucked, too many cops on the streets and it rained all saturday. the yellow/widebody supra and baby blue gen2 drag integra were some of the only decent cars. it use to be a lot more fun when there werent as many cops harassing people and stop light to stop light runs were going on.

 

Yea the supra was nice, but the cops have overrun that town. I was at the hot rod crusin show a couple weeks ago and I got a warning for standing on the sidewalk watching the cars pass by

 

A Supra would eat any CL-S alive from a roll. A heavily modified turbo CL-S might have a chance from a dig if the Supra driver can't drive for shit and doesn't hook up.

 

i can guarantee you there is more than just one turbo CLS around.

I think I need to make a twin-turbo kit next time Hey... that's not a bad idea!!
