Well I tried; it was a new black one. Wasn't a very legitimate race because we were in traffic but we played back and forth a few times. Jesus christ it was fast! I swear to god it was supercharged because it was really loud (S/C sound loud) and it simply walked away from me on the freeway... like whoa - fast. However in the fun of it all a black 6spd G35C was playing too and I was able to beat him pretty good, not sure what it had done to it... it had cool wheels. Dude... allmotor... 3rd gear on the freeway ROCKS!! I let the G35 get ahead of me, downshifted into 3rd (to ~5000rpm) and instantly was passing him, I love it! I was even sure to shift next to him because his window was partially down

I am still because I don't usually race... ever. Sorry fellow 405N drivers. I hadn't driven the car in a while though so I had to 'clean it out' It is sufficiently clean now. Anyway if you all see a Viper on the freeway give it its due respect... they deserve it.

If that Viper was truly S/Ced (and if it walked you, it most likely was)... good _god_ you didn't stand a chance. But great story nonetheless... it's like the rest of us 99.98% without turbos live our lives through the stories you & allmotor provide

 

Nice man, I forget where I got the video from, but it was a s/c Viper vs some sort of sports bike. Both the viper and the bike were dead even in highway acceleration. That is a pretty good testament to how fast a S/C Viper is.

Id rether have this vette that looks stock and is basicly stock besides engine moddifications, over that viper. This vette goes 0-60 in 1.8 seconds.

Naw, viper probably wasn't supercharged... 500hp in a race ready car is no joke, even against a turbo CL. Add in gearing, a stout tranny and the fact that the V10 is already loud as hell, even from the side, and you'lll still look to get owned.. Esepcially at high speed. The Viper will really eat you up 100mph+... it has the better drag coefficient, traction, and gearing...

I saw a segment on TVa while ago when they raced a fighter jet also call the viper against the new viper and the the fighter jet beat the Viper only by.1 of a second. So if that thing is SC then DAMNNNNNNN I bet it he was so fast he as blurry.
