Turbo + Comptech B-Pipe
Turbo + Comptech B-Pipe
I just installed this:

It is much larger than stock, the turbo will be happy. Not infinitely large like Allmotor's cutout, but it will make a big difference for me day to day. The stock sizes are 2-1/8" to the Y and then 1-3/4" to the mufflers, the Comptech is 2-1/2" and then 2". The flow area is 38% larger! That should free up some more boost and add another 10-15whp. Time to go test it out

Did you fix the intercooler pipe rattles? I used some weather stripping on some parts of mine... that worked good.
Oh I haven't gotten a chance to drive the car with the exhaust; my roommate's mom's grand cherokee is in the way
It will have to wait until tomorrow. I wonder if it will make it up to 6psi? I will let you know how the cooling duct idea goes too. I have my Radio Shack digital thermometer ready to gather data

Minimal, 3-5 whp.

Well the B-pipe made a noticeable difference. It responds better and feels much stronger, a definite improvement
. I'm curious to see how much of a difference it made but alas I don't have a dyno. But in order to actually FEEL a gain you need at least 10-15whp? (especially in a 3400lb. car), correct me if I'm wrong.
Next mod is making the intake air ~20 deg-F cooler... I already have a duct installed, need to gather the 'after' data...
Oh and I have maintained the stock mufflers. After all the car is pretty much stock anyway
Sleepers rule.

That's what I was going for. Aside from the FMIC and gauges, either of which aren't that obvious, the car looks basically stock.Oh and I was able to see a full 6psi with the addition of the B-pipe! Before the most the gauge read was about 5.8psi. Cool, more boost
i plan on getting s/c with scalbert's IC in near future.. im just doing all the other upgrades i can beforehand. b-pipe next, then headers, and then hopefully soon the s/c with stage III transmission from v/r.
