Gosh... 130mph is nuts! 116.32 is pretty darn fast for stock - if you race a base C5, how many car lengths would you take it by?
What do those trap?

Most trap right around 107-109mph.
Hmm I havent ran too many "Stock" c5s but I would say 4 cars or so. From a stop to the end of the 1/4. Stock z06s run low 12s, few have gone high 11s STOCK. Stock tires and all. I myself have gone 12.2 stock. Stock c5s run high 12s, or low low 13s.

That's a big difference for ~55hp?!? Is gearing different as well?

And weight. A couple of hundred pounds I beleive. Heck, going to Titanium for the exhaust just to cut weight.

Yea weight and gearing. Lots of little things. Wheels and tires make a difference. Less rotational mass helps alot. The tranny on the zo6 is more aggressive in gearing than the c5.

Typical rwhp numbers for stock cars.
zo6=355-360rwhp.
c5=300-310rwhp.

Weight
zo6=3050-3100 is what I have seen quoted.
c5=3250.

True about the off-the-line stuff but bro... no matter how modest you are about it, that is quite an achievement... to have a 911TT owner tell you that your car is fast... I know it's been said before, but it deserves reiteration... living legend!

From what i saw on Porsche forums, stock 911TT dyno between 370-380whp and they run low to mid 12's at 113-115mph. The X50 package dyno between 400-410whp and they run high 11's at 118-120mph. The trannies and transfer cases on the porsches are very efficient. They lose around 9-12% only from the motor to the wheels.

For a little car his car flies now.
That's funny, I had to re-read this and then see where you live. A friend of mine also has the exact same setup. Only difference is he has Hondata tuning. He makes 320whp. Maybe more now... that was on the initial tune. Needless to say his car screams! We need to race. I wish my car didn't weigh so much... I want to be able to take a Z06 (from a roll).

As a matter of reference, it seems more people are familiar with the song Sober from the Undertow album mainly because the video was sometimes played. But only late at night and nearly ten years ago.

Yup... they do have that traction advantage. I should be competitive with slicks though

If I were to rebuild, I don't think I'll go 3.5L unless I can get a different crankshaft (the new RL might be a good choice). The rod-ratio of the current 3.5L is more like a truck motor and IMO isn't the best. In any case a built 3.2L can handle 1000hp, so I don't see what that extra 50-60hp (at that kind of boost level) is going to help me.

i think im going nuts.

2 nights ago, I had a dream allmotor was at my crib installing a turbo on my CLS. He was in town on business or some shit and said he would drop by to check out what I had. I had all the parts laid out nicely, he was installing it while wearing a blue blazer and blue & yellow striped neck tie. It seemed so friggin real, that when I woke up, I was fuckin' pissed.

I need boost!

I didn't even get to drive it in my dream.
