Emanage Blue or Ultmate will work for ya, but from my experiece the blue seems to be good enough. Greddy seems to have problems with customer service and just a general lack of knowledge to help us with the GEU. You can try the AEM FIC its equivalent to the Emanage Blue I believe. Stand alone is god though, nothing will beat that. Nothing will get rid of your rev limiter except the standalone, thats what i've seen so far.

Most of the supercharged guys are running the Greddy Emanage Blue/Ultimate.

I'd be happy with those numbers. What could the ultimate have done better?

Who in the Dallas/Houston/Austin/Louisiana is the authority on tuning the e-Manage Ultimate on a supercharged 6mt Cls? I want to do this but noone in this area is qualified and I dont think I would trust them anyway. I want to travel to where someone has already done it with great results with the e-manage on a cls 6mt. Anyone want to help or have some thoughts? Thanks, Jim

In following with the thread it seems most are using the e-manage with great results for boosted applications. Jim

^^ Agreed. They've been around for years, and I use to hear about them back when I was in high school. They've had plenty of articles on them in your usual import tuner magazines. Been there a few times, they're very friendly.

Thanks for the info. I just got off the phone with Tony at Jotech and I liked what he had to say. Oddly enough, he said someone is comming in next week with the identical setup I have and they are tuning with the emanage ultimate. I will see what the results are. Jim

The car has the stock comtech setup on it now and would be safe to drive up there. My best friend and his wife live in Dallas so I will probably come up there with the pully on and stay out of the throttle or I will come up on a Thursday/Friday morning and put the HBP on at my friends house or somewhere in Dallas. On Sat I would go to Jotech and have the e-manage installed and the tune done at the same time. Jotech said they would do it all for no more than $650 minus the emange and harness. Should be fun! Jim

If they're tuning one this week with the Ultimate, it should be a slam dunk for yours. They'll have a good MAP to work with so their time spent on yours should be mostly spent on resoldering the harness and hooking up the Boomslang and Ultimate. Should be very little time on the dyno tuning.

Allout,
What will they have to resolder on the harness?

I feel you on the slam dunk since they will already have a good MAP but I'm sure they are still going to hit me with the flat tuning fee regardless of how long it takes to dial mine in.

When the Comptech SC kit is installed, the cut the harness and install an ESM (Electronic Signal Modifier) inline to hide boost from the ECU. With the Boomslang and Ultimate, they have to resplice the harness back to stock and remove the ESM. The Ultimate wants to see boost and will modify they signal sent to the ECU. At least that's how I understand it.

I figured that was what you were talking about but I wanted to make sure. I installed the supercharger myself and I know exactly what you are talking about. You are right on.
