can someone tell me how they configure/hookup this thing? Whats the optimal configuration for hooking this damn thing up?

A salesman showed me a long time ago, but for the life of me I can't get this thing down pat.

It's called a cargo net. There should be an entry in your owner's manual that tells you how to hook it up. Or, you can just play around with different configurations until you get it right or until you're satisfied/comfortable with it.

 

There were pics here like a month or two ago...i tried searching for you but i couldn't find it.

I don't think there is one single way to hook the cargo net up ...everyone seems to have something different. You can always go to the dealer and have them fix it for you.
