Hello all. I've been trying to install a PPI amp all weekend to no avail. I have a set of Focals up front, am adding in 2 15" free air subs and also using the factory rear speakers for fill. I am using an AudioLink PLII loc but for some reason I get absolutely no signal going to the RCAs. I have tried using the HU-amp signal, as well as the amp-spkr signal with no luck at all. After having done a search on the board, I came across a post that mentioned something about a "shield" wire that goes into the loc. I have not tried that yet, but do u think that would be the reason I'm getting no signal? Would there be something else that I'm doing wrong? Any help would be greatly appreciated as I am very close to my wits end on this.

 

Montreal CL-S, this happened to me when I installed an Audiolink PD-4. Yeah, you do have to connect the "shield" wire from the factory system to the signal ground of the PDII (thought I'm not familiar w/the PDII).
