transmission recall information

Hey all, I have a 2001 acura cl-s automatic(i know im dumb for getting the automatic) and lately the transmission has been slipping in 2nd and 3rd gear at or around 3k rpm. i dont know if my car has already had the recall done or not and would like to know any information on finding that out. if it has not already been done, does anyone know if i can still get a new one free from acura? thanks for your help.

the warranty was from the In Service Date until 100K miles or 7 years later.

There was 1 extention for 9 months and 9K miles that brought the total warranty to 7 years 9 months(93 months) or 109K miles from the in service date. There was also a 5% adjustment on the milage which added 5K miles to the warranty. (odometer lawsuit)

Unless you got a 2002 that has a late 2002 or 2003 in service date (highly unlikely) all warranties have expired for the 01-02 cars. There are some 2003 models that still have warranties but that is based upon their vin.

any trans replacement is goodwill only at this point.

you can register your car at acura.com's owner link and it will tell you what recalls are open
