I got a question about 03 CL S cuz I'm planning to buy one and it has very high milage (123K)> The dealer said that the tranny was changed twice(at 66k and 86k so i'm thinking what are the chances that it fails again after it was changed twice? Will the previous tranny problems repeat in the new one? Any opinions will be appreciated.

Search is your friend!!! There are countless threads on this issue, some people have never had tranny problems and some have had 4 or 5 trannys, just search young one!

 

I know that it happens infrequently but I wanted to know if when dealer changes 2 transmissions does it affect the way the third one in work or it really depends on the third tranny?

 

Kind of hit or miss on the trannys. Supposedly the more recent replacement trannys have been ok.
