Trans drain bolt

Yesterday, I changed my friends transmission fluid in his CL, and he had a good amount of medal shavings on the magnetic drain bolt. Is medal shavings typical with the cl transmission, and should i be expecting the same when i change my tansmission fluid? Anybody else get lots of medal shavings?

mine has metal shavings and it's really, really fine like graphite powder. i suppose it's normal since honda bothered to use a drain bolt with a magnet attached to it.

Normal. Moving metal parts are bound to shave some off over time. Mine was completely covered with metal particles at like 40k miles.
