Basically my trannies fucked, doesn't shift right foes into 2nd gear, fuck I got rid of my eclipse to rid myself of these problems....I hope they take longer than 30 days that way I can get my money back and buy a used Supra or a s2000. Wish me luck! can't believe this shit!!!!

It should definitely take longer than 30 days to get your car back. I'm on day 39 and I'm really questioning whether I am going to get it back before Thanksgiving. Be sure to read the Lemon Law so that you can send the necessary defect notification to Acura when it is time. I've already starting Lemon Lawing mine, but I think I'm going to waive the refund and just have them replace it with a 6 speed model as soon as they are available.

 

I hope you get a Supra also!

 

Alright, so I've read nearly every post regarding tranny problems that many of you are having, so now I'm concerned about mine having the same probs. Can any of you answer these Questions for me??

1. What were the early warning signs of tranny probs?
2. From that point, how long until the tranny didn't work anymore?
3. Does Acura still cover the tranny replacement out of warranty? (I know, not the smartest question, but I am hopeful)

man all I can tell you is there was some early signs shifting from 1st to 2nd it seemed to slip but I didn't really notice until I look back now. Basically it all happened at once, the tranny started slipping at WOT and even less also it started downshifting to 2nd. Horrible.

 

Thats the main reason im not that upset if my tranny goes. WARRANTY WILL COVER IT

Also I figure by the time my warranty is up, Acura will have done somthing different into fixing their trannies. Im hoping!
