Well i can say it almost crapped for a reason.

I was gunning it with a friend on the highway. I shifted down to second around 60mph or so and then we both go at it, as a shift to third the fucking thing doesnt go and it just keeps hitting the rev limiter, I hit my buddy up and was like fuckkkk my tranny just crapped out on me, I keep trying to shift up, then i shift from SS to D5. Still nothing. I shift back into SS, all the while i was like oh fuck, oh fuck and i keep trying to shift up, about 30 seconds later it finally goes up to 4th then 5th.

Does this mean my tranny is going to go out real soon. I shifted right before the rev limiter usualy kicks in at the top of second. I'm kinda scetchy about my dam tranny.

PS. Dam this cold weather is great for the CL, it was 55 in SFLa today, The car loves it, pulls so nicely.

Doesn't mean the tranny is going. My previous '01 did this just after buying it and it lasted just fine after nearly 30k of hard miles.

It was just a simple glitch.

Oh please. Shifting to 2nd at 60 in SS mode is fine.

I did run into the issue a few times where the tranny wouldn't do the 2->3 upshift near redline and ended up hitting the limiter. I had to back off the throttle and then hit the sportshifter again to finally get into 3rd. *shrug*

Mine has done this twice. Once with my old tranny and once with the new one. The second time I had to put it in Neutral then back into d5 while I was coasting down. Both times it happened under aggressive driving in ss
