dudes! my car has 90k miles on the first original tranny (or 145,000kms) and it jerks/shakes when switching in between 2-3. It's doing this for like 5-6 months now and not failing. It's obviously slipping and I frigging hate it because I cannot enjoy driving my car with this shit happening all the time. Sometimes it happens and sometimes does not. Also it makes a metal ticking noise when engaging sometimes either D5 or Reverse. No lights are on to indicate any kind of failure and the local dealer (Acura of North Toronto) wants $100 for inspection to tell me if they will or will not replace (if yes I don't pay the 100 if no then I leave the $100 there)

Do I have a case here to present to Acura for no questions asked replacement?
Is it possible they could replace the motor mounts as well? (I think the mounts might be put under additional stress due to this violent shaking)

What to do?
