Mike selling the CLS??? not a bad choice... I am thinking of trading in the 2001 Patherfinder LE for a MDX myself... Even this model still has the tranny issue problem eh...

tranny issues indeed....a recall was issued on them. I believe it is some sort of damage due to excessive heat, but I cant remember for sure. try searching on it.

They do take premium. Sister has one, very nice ride. You'll enjoy it, and still maintain that 'cool dad' status!

Yeah, they did have tranny issues. But, in talking with several service techs, the recall work has faired pretty well. And yes, it does take premium.
My dad just got a new one-they have decent power and LOTS more room than RX330. I am 6'2" and will ride in the third seat on short trips with no problems. The middle row seat is defin. more roomier than my mothers grand caravan!

Very true...if you're going to spend the cash for an X5 4.6, just drop an extra couple grand and get a Cayenne...They start at $65k...

you really want to save, get a pilot, it is a bit less luxurious, but has almost all the options as the MDX, 4WD, navigation, 3rd row seating, power everything, leather, it's a pretty nifty package. A 2004 pilot is alsmost the same price as a 2003 MDX, you get the idea.

Of course, that was prior to the QX getting the VQ35DE motor.

MDX is a very nice choice. A lady that works with me traded her 01 TL-S for an MDX about 2 months ago. She said it is pretty fast and handles good for an SUV, overall she is very happy with it so far. Personally I don't know, I have never had the pleasure of driving one.

Bro i would go with the MDX you will love it... They all had a recall on them which has fixed the problem... my dealer hasn't got one MDX back yet to which they applied the recall fix. So go for it congrats

If I was to get an SUV in the 30k-40k range it would be the MDX.

Nice choice.

They have a lot more hp now than in '98, and they look nice.
But the MDX looks sweet too. Nice choice.
