Well, I traded my CL in for a 2001 TL today. My lease was inside the 6th months and they were encouraging a trade-in, they made me a unbelievable offer... (sorry, can't disclose as I know the owners and so I got a huge discount). Anyhow, I'm a TL owner... SWEEEETTTTT!!!!! I'm way stoked.... In any event, I don't want you guys to think I'm deserting the CL forum, you'll still see me lots....

ok 1st things 1st phil, u didnt read the whole post cause if u did, u would have seen that it was a 98 2.3 cl, its right in his Sig . well, good luck with the TL, its a super dupper car and i would have loved to have driven one myself, may look at the TL-S when it comes out.
DID u hav eot pay any extra money to get out of the lease, or did your payments go up cause they had to include the old car in the new car payments. PLease email me (warreng98@hotmail.com) with details, i am curios cause in 3 years i may want to do the same thing. thanks

I sent ya an email.... It's a way sweet car... I'm very happy. My favorite thing about the CL Type-S was the SS, and the seats... The TL has the SS, and great seats, plus most everything. It may not have VSA, or the 260hp, but that's just fine with me, I'd rather have the MUCH lower payments.... Let's just say it was a huge savings for me to go this route instead of a Type-S CL or TL.
