Trade up??

Hey, guys...

I bought my Silver 2001 CL-S (non-navi) on July 13, 2000. It now has about 11,600 miles on it and I called my dealer to see how much I could get for it on a trade up to a new 2001 CL-S with no miles on it.

He offered me $24,000 for my car and said he'd trade up to a new CL-S (non-navi) for $4800 and said he'd trade up to a new CL-S (With navi) for $6800.

Sounds like a good deal to me, any thoughts??

You ought to wait 'til Oct. for the 2002 CL-S. Gonna be SWEET!!! If not, what's the matter with the on eyou've got now?! Not happy with the color or something?!

Why would you trade for the same car? 6 speed, yeah but not the same car. 2001 for a 2001?

Not a thing is wrong with the one I've got now... Call me crazy but I just thought if it didn't cost too much, I'd trade 'er up for a new one!!

Trading up to the same car, unless you get the 6-speed is just a waste of money. 11K miles is pretty close to new, you would just waste money.

Hey if you've got the dough, and want to stay in the same car, I'd wait, but I don't really see the point if you just get another 2001. Hey that's me though. You got any color preferences?!

Sure, $6800 more for the Navi(+ 11k miles). The dealer must be very happy about this...eh?

call me crazy, but this past Saturday, i sat in BIGPOPPA21's CL-S he got 2 weeks ago, and his leather seats were softer than mine (my baby is 1 year old this month), and i take care of my seats with Zymol Protectant...anyone else notice this?? his leather felt nicer than mine, especially the side bolsters on both the back and the seat. combine that with the upgraded cupholder, and u have 2 additional reasons to trade up for a new one
