track night with the obx headers

just got back from the track very happy with my times

heres my best slip

reaction .355
I1 2.283
I3 9.34
ET 14.3
mph 98.8

i have an 03 cl-s auto my mods are icebox and obx headers and a set of es 100 tires
i ran a couple of weeks ago without the headers and i got a 14.89@96.xxmph

i didnt think the time would go down that much with the headers, but im sure with a better 60ft i can get a 14.2- 14.1.
what do you guys think

Is 2mph & 5 tenths a normal gain for headers alone? That seems like alot. What were the temps and post the entire slips for both passes.

I went from a 14.5 to a 14.2 and from 96 to 98. My short time is better than his though. I hit 2.1s on both Intake only and I/H runs.

dam a 2.1 60 ft is good
no matter how hard i try i get a 2.28 -2.30, with a 2.1 i should be at like 14.2 to 14.15
is the tire width make a difference cause my dimentions are 215/50/17, mabye i should have gotten 225/45/17

225/45-17 would help. they're wider plus a little shorter.

Nice run man.

Drop that 60' down and you'll be sitting pretty.

With I/H and a good driver an Auto CLS can be a quick car.
