toyo proxes T1-S or S-02 pole positions?

I'm replacing tires on both of my vehicles very shortly. The price difference between the two is negligible so that is not a factor. I've read a lot of great things about both. Opinions would be much appreciated, particularly regarding wet weather capabilities.

try tireoutletpa@aol.com or 888-261-9566. For the 16's on the gsx, the price was within $13 b/n the two. I don't imagine the price would be all that different for 17's in comparable sizes.

I've heard good things about the toyo's in dry & wet conditions. But you will need a winter tire. Planning on getting toyos myself.

Toyos are the best. But the pole positions are nearly as good. I'd say the toyo are better technology and better in the wet. Probably better in the dry too, they are nice and sticky. Aren't the pole positions S03 coming out though?

On the gsx I have bridgestone blizzaks for the winter. The yoko's I had on there were trashed last fall so they got tossed. I'm going to keep the michelins for my cl-s during the winter. Hell, Buffalo got the 2nd largest amount of snowfall in inches this year since they started keeping track and I didn't have any problems. Besides, next year I think I'm gonna get a used Cherokee or some other sport ute. I have no idea about s-03's.

I think the pole positions are nice when you first get them. Then the sticky layer wears off and you get to the long-wear, heavy silica rubber which makes them less wonderful and a lot noisier.

The Toyos stick so well, that you can scare yourself and others. Put them on some light wheels and the car rides better than stock.

Now that's entertainment!

I'm with you good Doctor on that biz about your car being stealthy and able to sneak up on others. Some kid in a riced Celica GT thought he could blow me away at a red light the other day. I was watching him out of the corner of my eye pretending not to notice when the X-mas tree, er red light changed to green whereupon I mashed the LOUD pedal and left him gaspin' (and grinding the gears from 1st to 2nd-ouch)!! Too much fun.
