Totalled my cl :(

In the past 2 years that i had my car this site has been great help with a couple problems ive had with the car. Just wanted to say thanks.......The other night there was a big snow storm in chicago(rained then snowed, then sleet, then more snow, then it froze) I was getting off the highway on a straight off ramp and my car starting pulling to the right so i tried straighting it out by going left. it caught left and both airbags deployed. im alright but the car is totalled. the worst part is my insurance expired the night before......

That sucks man. At least you're ok though! Post some pics of the damage.

Yeah, I live in Chicago too in the Goldcoast area, and it was pretty bad that day. I was driving on 90/94 at night, and this pothole busted my front tire. I needed a new set of tires anyways, but still. Thats Chicago weather for you though.

Sad to hear, glad you are ok though. My brother totaled his TL last night. It seems to me its always nice cars in accidents, and not old junkie ones that no one wants, at least thats how its been in my family. Hope it all works out for you.

Ohhhh Shit! Man, I read that and my jaw just dropped! I'm glad to hear your alright! But take it from me, after being driver in two accidents the insurance is a life saver. I just hope you don't have some major fine for driving uninsured.....

Lucky your ass didn't hit me without having any insurance. I was in Chicago 3 years ago and a guy hit me in a snowstorm and he didn't have insurance, of course I ended up eating the cost.

If your insurance just expired yesterday, why would you be driving in a snow storm.

Also, you only think about the cost of repairing a vehicle, what would have happened if you hit someone else and injured them, not just damaging their vehicle. So dont just think about your selfish ass.

Im glad your fine, but I could care less about you and your car.

Also what i was thinking - glad your ok and all, and it could have been a lot worse... but why would you be driving without insurance? snowstorm or otherwise?

Parting out?

Sorry for your loss.
If you decide to part it out, I really need a few pieces of the interior from behind the drivers seat. I use a wheelchair and putting my chair in and taking it out of the backseat over the past couple of years has done a nasty number on this area of my car. I'd like to refresh it in the event I sell it or/and just to make it look better.

The parts include the panel with the rear left arm rest, the leather insert above it and I think there's a seperate piece that goes down to the floor.

How much?
