Torque Steer

This may sound like a stupid question, but I am mechancially challenged. Would a limited slip differential preent torque steer. JZ said that his salesman said that he had heard somethin like that. But, if we are pullin 290 hp at th flywheel (meaning, oh say, 250Hp at the wheels) torque steer might become a more serious problem.

Nope, torque steer is that horrible uncontrollable feeling you get from driving a front-wheel drive car. The more power to the front wheels and the more you punch it, the more torque steer.

What does it feel like? Sounds stupid, but I don't think I ever felt it. Or felt it, & didn't know it. I've only had 2 FWD cars too.

If you really punch it, I compare it to feeling like your front wheels are sliding on ice.

you punch it, and the front of the car tries to leap sideways along with forwards. so you have to correct it by turning the wheel.

If you get good tires...when it's dry...you won't feel it when you punch it...but when it's wet..you get a lot of it...
