does anybody know if i can get a torque converter and which company sells them.

Level 10 is the only source I know of for an upgraded Acura CL torque converter or other transmission upgrades:

Art Carr also provides upgraded internals for the transmission such as clutch packs and a higher stallin torque converter. Comptech also works with Art Carr. Check them out:
