Level Ten has a seriously bad reputation. At least from 3-4 years ago. Things may have changed by now though. No one I know of here on the forum is running a level ten transmission.

whateevr you do, dont use Ed from ed's quality transmissions, he did mine and its fucking up, brought it back 2 times and stil not right. he used to do the installs for velocity. they told me he was fuckin up so they moved to a new location changed their name to speed distributors and do their work in house. they warned me too, who knew.....

I did a little research on different transmission rebuilts etc. I talked to a sales rep at Levelten about a month ago and they told me about 6,000 for a tranny and torque converter which comes with a 6month unlimited mile warranty. I have also talked with a couple people at Speed Distr and they were talking about 2500(not including shipping of it) and turn around time of about 3-4 days. I believe Dr. Evil is about 4,000 as I have the information but I never called them.

i've been looking to get a tranny rebuild but i've been hearing nothing but bad info about level ten, speed distributors.... i know some domestic muscle car guys using dr evil trannies, but i haven't heard of anyone using it for imports.
with a highly efficient tq converter you will see gains... but which company can make a transmission that wont crap out every 20k or so miles for our cars?

If you have $10,000 laying around let me know and i'll go into details on what's needed. Otherwise i'll just leave it at "no"
