Obviously, I don't agree with their list. The CL-S should be number 1. This is all paid off bullshit.

I can understand the Focus being on the list...I mean, name a better all around compact.

What I don't like is that the 350Z and the G35 having two separate entries. Considering, they are talking about the G35 coupe, they should have combined the two to make room for another coupe (CL-S)

At least the RSX made the list again. As a former owner, this is a very high quality car at a decent price. The CL-S may not be the fastest of the cars in its class, but It does own one "best" category: It is THE BEST fwd car in its class, period!

And pappy, I am glad you are a dog lover. But you gotta learn something. Poodles are "the king of all dogs". I got seven. Smart, alert, and intelligent, but I bet yours is too!

 

The Focus being on the list is a bunch of shit! The Focus has had a shitload of recalls.

 

Just out of curriosity, what compact car would you put in place of the Focus on this list?

 

The Mazda Protege has won the last few compact car comparos, but the Focus that it beats everytime is a 10 best, and the Protege isn't?

 

Yeah... why the hell Ford Focus is doing there? Focus = recalls + troubles, which = eating dust on the road side waiting for a tow truck that usually won't show up until the next day....

Civic should tak Focus's place...

I would put the Protege or the Civic on the list.

 

I know this may sound weird, but I hear Honda is kinda dropping the ball on the Civic a little...like the build quality isn't what is was with the last generation.

And I think 1SICKLEX is on to something with the body styles, the Focus is more versatile in that area.

Far be it from me to defend a Ford...but I guess I can see why it's on the list.

 

I totally agree!! If not the Mazdaspeed Protege, then the MP3 (previous highend MP). Both are better subcompacts than the Focus.

Playing Devil's advocate here, I think the Focus is just a token American car that C/D added to the list to somewhat shutup the domestic car folks; the same folks who for years accused C/D of being on the payroll of Honda and Toyota.
