So I am heading out to a doctor appointment the other day('03 TL-S), and I am driving along talking with a guy at work and a guy and his wife in a BMW 325ci convertible, manual, top down, with dealer plates, it looked brand new, pulls up next to me at a set of lights in the left lane. I could've cared less at this point, I didn't really feel like wasting my time. Light goes green and he takes off like a bat out of hell. Well just from instinct I half hit it and squaked my tires on the lines on the road. Wasn't even trying to race him.

Pull up to the next set of lights about a half mile down the road both right next to each other and this guy says, "Is that all you can get out of that pice of sh** car!!" Alright it's on now!! I just simply replied, "Don't make me embarass your $40,000 car in front of your wife", to which his wife says, "Yeah like that will happen"

So I slap the shifter into SS, light goes green and I had him by three cars by the time I hit 75. I slowed down until I was next to him and I yelled over to him, "Did you get enough or did you want to go again?". To that I got the expected, "F*** You!"
Oh well, don't mess with what you don't know I guess.

Once again my baby made me happy.

I don't understand why so many people say BMW drivers are dicks, pricks, or whatever...although most CLS drivers I've stomped didn't say anything like the above, but majority act like their shit is the fastest thing out there...give me a break.

he pulled the same thing as what 2003TL-S had to put with.

after I blew 3 trucks lengths on him we came up to the next light and I get the fuck you. that was a mistake as I threw my chocolate shake and covered the passenger side door and window and was lucky to get a bit of her head.
then the 5'5 shit got out and wanted to fight me. when I got out he ran to his car and locked the doors. (I'm 6'4 and 240)

Actually I find the vast majority of BMW owners to be fine; or rather, in line with the general population. Most are interested in the status symbol anyway and don't care to race. Of the one's that race, most of these are interested in a road course, not straight line racing. Then you have that last segment which is probably about the same percentage as some of the fool CL owners.

Any type of car will have those prick owners; people tend to watch the BMW's closer.

Some of the blanket statements are exactly as what is being described.

I agree with Scalbert, and yes it's true that most BMW owners tend to wanna do road courses. Yes I agree that there are some punk ass kids driving in their little 3 series thinking they're the king of the hill and what not.

For the most part i have found that BMW owners are aiight, some are jerks but then there are those few that are jerks with all kinds of cars that give the rest of the owners a bad name. Darrinb, yeah I could of wasted him by more but the one thing I left out was that the speed limit was 45 and a couple weeks ago on a trip down to Galena, IL I got pulled over for doing 78 in a 55, so I have been somewhat careful lately.

totatly agree i just don't have any respect for someone who eggs me on for a race in his 150G sedan and then loses big time and gives me the one finger salute when he loses.

i have been beat a couple of times by quicker cars and will pull over and talk to them or give them the thumbs up.

Like many have said, assholes come in all shapes and cars look at Lexus drivers (j/k 1sick...just messing with you)! I don't mind losing and usually give a thumbs up or smile. I do get pissed when I get the 1 finger salute though! Its just funny when any asshole races you without knowing anything about your car! People that know a little something about cars are usually pretty cool, win or lose.

Had one following me home last night.. Pretty cool driver I think. But it was the *exact* car I was looking at when car shopping a few months ago (pre-CLS): 330, convertible, in that ice-blue or whatever it's called. Sweet ride. He kept up pretty good too!
